VERTICAL ANTI-ABRASIVE PUMP WITH DIRECT CONNECTION SPUTNIK

Application area

Special pumps designed and prepared for pumping highly abrasive liquids generated as a result of stone processing (workshops and stone-cutting factories), processing / washing of aggregates, recovery cement water, as well as when processing glass and ceramics. With vertical axis with bearings in a watertight chamber, the size of which allows the lower part of the shaft to work cantilever without supports immersed in liquid.

Feature of these pumps is the absence of an oil seal, which when contact with an abrasive liquid would have a minimum life time. It is recommended to use a hose from anti-abrasive rubber between the pump discharge elbow and a fixed piping system to protect against vibration and for ease of installation. Since this pump type is not self-priming, liquid is always must cover the casing / impeller.

AXLE
A vertical axis pump with bearings in a watertight chamber, sized to allow the bottom of the shaft to be cantilevered without supports immersed in the liquid.

CONNECTION
With a two-piece flexible adapter complete with a protective cover.

BODY
Made of cast iron, divided into two halves with a protective wear-resistant molded coating from our special composition, consisting of replaceable and externally adjustable casings, which allows quick and convenient replacement and elimination any clearance caused by normal wear and tear. In small series, the housings are vulcanized, the coating is only at the request of the customer.

DELIVERY ELBOW
With replaceable rubber coupling for connecting the pump to the discharge pipe.

IMPELLER
Open type anti-clogging, made of a steel core coated with a special anti-abrasive compound.

SUCTION FILTER
Made of cast iron, the correct size and shape for suction of liquid.

EYE SUPPORT UNIT
Usually included because they are required for lifting

PUMP RETAINER
Bracket for fixing the pump to the wall.

EXTENSION FOR SUCTION FILTER
On request, an extension can be inserted between the suction filter and the bottom of the housing to increase the distance between the bottom bearing and the liquid level, or to keep the motor outside the reservoir.
